JUNE DAIRY DAYS PARADE
May 31, 2008
The West Salem June Dairy Days Committee is pleased to announce that June Dairy Days will be held on Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1, 2008. We would like to extend this invitation to you to participate in this outstanding community event. The parade is scheduled for Saturday, May 31 at 12 Noon.
Please complete and return the bottom of this letter no later than May 20. Any entries received after this date will not be accepted. In the past several years, I have been inundated with phone calls the week before the parade from people that had forgotten/misplaced the entry form, etc. It creates a great deal more work for me to finalize the parade schedule. Please be prompt with your entry.
There is no fee for non-business/non-profit groups, churches, or organizations to enter our parade. For all business/commercial entries, there is a $25 charge to enter the parade unless your business sponsors a June Dairy Days poster ad for a minimum of $125. For more info on that, please contact Eric Bauer at 786-0890. We will follow up with another notice to you in mid-May indicating the place of registration, a parade route map, and your position in the parade. Make checks payable to June Dairy Days.
