Celebrate West Salem Date: 03/21/2010 4th ANNUAL CELEBRATE WEST SALEM Sunday, March 21, 2010 West Salem High School Gymnasium and Commons Area 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The West Salem Business Association will again sponsor the Celebrate West Salem event.  Vendor applications will be mailed out the end of January 2010 and will be available on the website. 1-2-3 Magic Date: 03/22/2010 through 03/29/2010 HOSTED BY: WEST SALEM SCHOOL DISTRICT &  The 21st CENTURY SKILLS ADVISORY BOARD   Presented By: Ted Stein, M.S., L.P.C., N.C.C.   The award-winning, best selling 1-2-3 Magic program provides practical and easy-to-learn parenting techniques that WORK for children ages 2-12. You won't need to study child psychology to understand the three simple steps in the program and get results quickly!   Step 1: Control Obnoxious Behavior. Learn a simple technique to get your kids to STOP doing what you don't want them to do (whining, arguing, tantrums, sibling rivalry, etc.).   Step 2: Encourage Good Behavior. Learn several effective methods to get your kids to START doing what you do want them to do (cleaning rooms, going to bed, homework, etc.).   Step 3: Strengthen Relationships. Taco & Nacho Night Date: 04/15/2010 Hello, friends! Once again it is time for our annual Village People “Grand Raffle” with all proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club of West Salem. I am hoping that you will choose to help out as it is the major source of income in our “Taco & Nacho Night” community event on Thursday, April 15th. The event itself brings the community together in support of the B&GC/WS, but it isn’t a big money maker so success depends on the raffle.   These “Grand Raffle” tickets are $5.00 each or 6 for $20.00.   Prizes include:  1)  2010 Golf Membership at Fox Hollow Golf Course                                  2)  Notebook (computer) worth $300 +                                  3)  $100.00 gift card from Kwik Trip   (As names are drawn the desired prize is selected by the winner)   I would be happy to mail you the ticket stubs (if you trust me to fill in your info and get them into the drawing!) and you could mail me a check for the tickets. Or, I would be happy to stop by and visit you personally.
